Welcome to Cub Scouting, part of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). We are Pack 189. We welcome any boy and girl entering 1st through 5th Grade. We plan on being a very active Pack, and pride ourselves on having a year round program that focuses on fun, respect, and family that influences the growth of the scouts in fine young citizens.

Cub Scout Ranks:

  • BOBCAT – Any Grade or Age.
  • LION – Kindergarten (5 Yrs of Age)
  • TIGER – 1st Grade (6 Yrs of Age)
  • WOLF – 2nd Grade (7 Yrs of Age)
  • BEAR – 3rd Grade (8 Yrs of Age)
  • WEBELOS 1 – 4th Grade (9 Yrs of Age)
  • WEBELOS 2 – 5th Grade (10 Yrs of Age)
  • ARROW of LIGHT (AOL)

Uniform

Requirements

Cub Scouts should/will be encouraged to wear his/her uniform appropriately.  The shirt should always be tucked in and orderly. He/she should understand the importance of representing the entire Boy Scout Organization while in uniform.   

You’ll need to Buy:
  • Shirt (Long or Short Sleeve)
  • Pants or Shorts (Navi Blue)
  • Belt
  • Scout Emblem (above left pocket)
  • Council Patch (Orange County Council)
  • Flag will come with shirt
  • Pack Numbers/Hat (to be provided by LĐHĐTD)
  • Neckerchief and Slide (your scouts will earn this later)
